Till lately I was under-gamekeeper for one C. Durham, Esq. - ha! - but then I met a friend of his called Mr Maurice Hall and now I'm neither working for Durham nor in the Argentine as was planned. Maurice and me took off together and I can't tell you where to, as the two of us have feelings for each other that're criminal in England. Seems they're natural to me. There's more about us in a book called Maurice by a Mr E. M. Forster. |
